You can walk into this house and live comfortably winter and summer. It is a proper home not a holiday home. It is a large 190 sq mtrs house, i2500 sq mts of land. It is a large casa on a campo named Corta Pisa which is a ten minute walk into the bars and shops of the town of Los Santos de Maimona. A five minute drive takes you to the historical town of Zafra. It is surrounded by vineyards so we live in the countryside but you also have towns close to you so you are not isolated. There are the bigger towns, Merida and Badajoz which are less than an hour away.

The casa has the following accomodation, Living Room, First double bedroom, small hall with airing cupboard, leading from the hall is the utility kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms.
Through the utility room into the large dining room, next to the dining room is the large dining kitchen leading from this is your second bathroom and two bedrooms, one of which I use as a workroom but would be a double bedroom.

The casa has mains electric, we have higher power as I cant stand only being able to use a couple of things before the electric goes off. There are two wells and the main well is very deep and we have used it for 10 years without problems. It has its paperwork so all legal.

The front garden has olive, pear and fig trees. It is also large enough to have a vegetable garden, chickens etc. We have it laid to lawn as we buy our produce from the markets here. Nearer the house is a swimming pool with filter and patios, there is also a herb garden. The back garden has large patios with olive, lemon and a walnut tree. There is a brick built store room with washing machine and dryer plus room for garden tools. There is also a very large workshop and many of the larger tools will be part of the sale.

We will be leaving most of the furniture and the white goods as when we return home we will be living in a much smaller place. So if you wish to live in Spain my house is a house that will make it easy for you, just transfer your personal items and you are home.

There are good junior and secondary schools in Los Santos, we also have a theatre, large swimming pool with bar and picnic areas. It also has a health centre and the hospital is ten minutes away in Zafra. There are many large shops, Lidl, Mercadona, carrefour and Dia plus all the local bread, meat, and cake shops.
