Located within the São Mamede Parque Natural, in the Concelho of Marvão. This a is beautiful, tranquil area. Yet only a few minutes walk to the thriving village of Santo Antonio Das Areias, which includes a restaurant, cafe's, bars, and shops. In addition there is a school, a doctors surgery and an indoor swimming pool. Nearby is the stunning walled village and castle of Marvão. A few kilometres further is Castelo De Vide, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal. Eight kilometres away is a Piscina Fluvial (natural river swimming pool), a little further afield are two beautiful lakes, with great swimming and fishing opportunities.. The city of Portalegre is approximately 25 minutes drive away and includes a large commercial and industrial centre. Directly from the property are numerous hiking trails.
