Nerola FARMHOUSE and COTTAGE and WOODLAND CABIN are completely separate and all offer stunning sea views and sunsets across to the Amalfi Coast and Capri. Only 10 km to the closest sandy beach at Baia di Trentova, Agropoli - one of the top 5 best beaches in the Cilento. The location is quite unique looking down to the sea and across to the Amalfi Coast surrounded by beautiful countryside. Close to everything but away from it all. A sense of calm and immersed in nature in this stunning location makes you feel as if you are in paradise on a hill. There is an abundance of plants, herbs and trees all year round. All manner of butterflies, birds, geckos living happily in their natural surroundings.

The property is in a hilltop, semi rural location on the borders of the Cilento National Park and close to villages with restaurants, shops and all amenities. The village of San Martino Cilento is 2km, Laureana Cilento is 2.5km and the small town of Torchiara is 6km and the sandy beach, marina and old town of Agropoli is 8km. Salerno is 70km. Naples is 120km. Rome is 320km.
Easily accessible from Naples or Rome airport by road and high speed trains (direct links). Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius and Amalfi Coast all within 90 minutes drive.
The closest airport is Naples Capodichino. There is a small airport just outside Salerno 'Amalfi Coast airport' with a few flights in the summer months which is likely to offer more flights in the future.

The properties are connected to mains water, electricity, excellent wifi connection which can upgraded to an even higher speed if required. Hot water is provided to the farmhouse from a solar panel. The central heating to the radiators throughout the farmhouse is by a pellet stove which is very efficient and economical. There are also open fireplaces in the kitchen, sitting room and study. The heating in the cottage and woodland cabin is from woodburning stoves.

The FARMHOUSE is situated on 2 floors of 200 sq.m and built in stone. During the restoration process we have used as many of the old materials as possible to maintain the character of the house (exposed stone, beams, ceiling slats, roof tiles, floor tiles) whilst creating an elegant, rustic and spacious family home which would work perfectly as a permanent or holiday home. It is a very light and spacious house with plenty of windows. Shutters to the front of the property.

There are 2 fresh water streams which mark the boundary on either side of the land down to the tarmac lane.
From the lane there are roads going down to Agropoli and up to the villages. The local comune are in the process of improving and widening the lane and with new street lighting.
The village of San Martino is 2km above the cottage and has 2 cafes, pharmacy and a small grocery shop.
The medieval village of Laureana Cilento is also 2.5km and has a small hotel/restaurant, small post office and town hall.
The old and new town of Torchiara is 6km where there are plenty of family run shops, 2 restaurants, pizzeria, 3 supermarkets, bakery, fruit shop, delicatessen, launderette, bank and post office. There is a small market on a wednesday morning.
There are a string of pretty coastal villages with sandy beaches within an easy drive.
The closest beach is at Baia di Trentova with a pretty bay outside Agropoli which is 10km.
There is also the long stretch of beach, bars and restaurants at the Lungomare (seafront) in Agropoli. Santa Maria di Castellabate is a pretty and traditional coastal village with several beaches and plenty of restaurants overlooking the sea and only 20 mins drive. San Marco di Castellabate is also a small coastal town with a Thalasso Spa located on the marina. Ogliastro Marina, Montecorice, Case del Conte, Agnone, Acciaroli .......... and many more heading south.
Amalfi town is 1hr 15 mins, Positano 1hr 30 mins, Sorrento 2 hrs. Capri can be reached by ferry from Salerno (April to October) and Agropoli (July and August).
This area has been designated the Blue Flag which denotes clean and safe water and beaches.
Heading into the hills and mountains of the Cilento National Park there are hundreds of rare wild flowers, orchids, wild boar, gorges, waterfalls and being able to drive for miles without seeing a soul.
