Caurel dorp is een paar minuten met de auto, vijf minuten lopen, waar zijn verschillende bar / restaurants, een basisschool en een kerk, terwijl de grotere stad van Mur de Bretagne is vijf minuten met de auto en biedt een supermarkt, bank, post kantoor, apotheek, dierenartsen, doe-het-zelfwinkel, bouwershandelaren, bakkerij, verdere scholing en nog veel meer. De grote stad Loudeac ligt op minder dan 20 minuten rijden en Rostrenan ongeveer 15 minuten.
