The property is 5 minutes outside Fuente Alamo (some 15,000 inhabitants), in the region of Murcia, south-east Spain, on the beautiful Costa Calida coast.Driving times: Murcia City 35 minutes, La Manga 40 minutes drive, San Javier airport 35 minute (closing from 19 January 2019, replaced by Murcia International Airport at Corvera just 10 minutes away), Cartagena 30 minutes, Mazarron 40 minutes …..very centrally located to access main centres of urbanisation, culture and tourism and the beaches of The Mar Menor and Mediterranean sea/beaches.
The coastline, known as the Costa Calida, averages 300 days of sunshine per annum! More then Costa del Sol or Costa Blanca South.
The whole area has a fantastic road infrastructure…traffic jams are non-existent and moving around is very easy.
The property is part of an urbanisation called Hacienda del Alamo (HDA for short) conceived early 00s and first properties built 2006.
The urbanisation is made up of 6 phases of housing development, a spa-hotel (Sheraton), various restaurants/shops and a championship 18-hole golf course, the longest (from back tees) in Spain. There is a plan layout for a second golf course. The Sheraton has recently taken over the hotel/spa and once this world-wide brand is established (new international airport opening) the pressure to deliver with only one golf course could make the second course a reality in the very near future.
The Villa is a vega style. The location of the villa is Phase 1, being the first built phase on the urbanisation.
